Safety briefing out of the way, you sit tight ready for take off as the 150 foot rope tightens, then the tug aircraft pulls you slowly into the sky to a height of around 2000 feet. As your adrenalin rushes, you’re released from the tug plane and your pilot takes the controls as you peacefully bank and turn over the beautiful countryside below. If you’re ready, you’re then asked to take the joystick yourself – and you can guide the glider slowly down for the rest of the flight – leaving your experienced pilot to take over for landing if you wish. A truly memorable experience, you will never forget your sublime gliding experience.
